PRP Week 13 - Outpatient (OPD)

Hellooooo...

Time flies so fast. I didn't realise that I have been working for 3 months now, meaning that I have 9 more months to go as a PRP. Yeeayyyy!

So this week I'm in outpatient department (OPD) or Farmasi Klinik Pakar in HSI. For this week, I only do  the filling which is filling the bin with the medications based on the labels. So, early in the morning, when there's not much patient outside, I will do some repacking. For example, repacking Simvastatin 40mg into 15's, Amlodipine 10mg into 30's, Aspirin into 8's and so on. This is because it's quite common the medications are dispensed in that quantity.

Next week it's my turn to dispense I guess plus doing some counselling as well. Working in OPD makes my lunch hour a bit variable. Sometimes I had lunch at 11am, sometimes at 1pm depending on the timetable.

Rojak Bellamy

Rojak Bellamy is located at Jalan Bellamy, Kuala Lumpur. What's so famous here? Rojak and cendol of course! Since 1958 they said. Their motto is "Best rojak in Kuala Lumpur... emmm maybe in Malaysia!". Amboi2 kauuu.. Yakin je ekkkk...

Ok la, so one day we went here because we promised Arissa and Imani to bring them jalan2 around KL. Before we went to Midvalley, we made a stop at Rojak Bellamy to have lunch. I had rojak special and cendol while others tried the fried kuetiau and rojak biasa. Rojak special is special because it has sambal sotong on top of it.

As soon we reached Midvalley, we found out that Pet Wonderland has moved to different location. So we searched for it and found it. Arissa likes animals, so she loves seeing a lot of animals in this shop, hamster and cats particularly. :)

Laman Grill | Shah Alam

Hello Masterchef~

Finally, I got the chance to try the western food served at a restaurant owned by Chef Zubir Masterchef. Laman Grill: Steak & Bar-B-Que. This restaurant is quite famous among the food-lovers as it was featured several times in Masterchef Malaysia. It's located at Laman Seri, Seksyen 13, Shah Alam. Near the Giant Hypermarket and Stadium Shah Alam.

I went here a day before I started my job in Johor. Huhu, sedihnya sebab akan meninggalkan Shah Alam for a year. So, why not treats myself with good food? Hehe, not treat myself actually because my mom was the one who paid. =)

The restaurant looks quite cozy and modern where the kitchen is actually can be seen from the dining area. So, if you wanna see the chefs cook, feels free to do so. On the wall, a lot of certificates were displayed showing how successful Chef Zubir is. Malaysians should be proud of him. :)

I was quite satisfied with the food as the portion was very reasonable although the price was kinda exclusive. Hehe.. It's nice to have meals here for some special occasion, sometimes.

PRP Week 11 & 12 - Inpatient (Satellite 4)

Wuhuuuuu.. Finally I've completed 5 out of my 8 weeks in inpatient (IPD) department. I'm going to outpatient (OPD) after this. Well, things are still the same in Satellite 4 except there was one day, the labels came out quite late thus we had to reprint the labels by patient, one by one. Usually, the labels will come out automatically around 8am. This was due to downtime maintenance which occurred the night before. I guessed this is one of the drawbacks of using electronic system. I could be a disaster once the system is under maintenance. It will be manual all over again..

I re-presented my TDM Aminophylline once again and alhamdulillah everything went well. Now, I just need to complete at least 40 cases of clerking and do some follow-up for certain patients. Furthermore, I still not yet have the date for TDM assessment yet. Everyone is kinda busy now due to the change of department which affected the bosses.

So, last week I got the chance to have lunch outside the hospital. Me, Zu and Nur went to Aeon Tebrau next door and had sushi at Sushi King. I'm so glad that I finally got friends to tag along. I mean rakan sebaya la.. Hehe.. Tapi Kak Nur lebih muda.. =p We also have planned our next outing on 20th and 24th January. Tak sabar nak berjimba2 dengan diorang. Oleh sebab tak ramai lelaki kat HSI, makanya dengan diorang berdua ni la aku selalu lepak2 sambil gosip2.. And we watched The Hobbit together few weeks ago.
