Sepupuku Bertunang

Semalam hari Sabtu. Seperti yang dijadualkan, Faris akan ditunangkan pada hari ini dengan gadis pilihannya. Faris ni merupakan abang kepada Asiah, sepupu I yg sama2 buat A-Level dgn I di INTEC dulu.

Kami semua berkumpul di masjid Kuala Kubu Baru yg terletak lebih kurang 59 km dari Kuala Lumpur. Wah, particularnya I dgn jarak ni.. Padahal ternampak signboard kat tepi jalan. I dgn adik I naik kereta Along & Abg Lin sebab kami bertolak lewat sedikit drpd umi dan ayah. Sebelum ke majlis pertunangan tersebut, kami ke wedding adik Gadafi (suami sepupu I, Kak Nora) di Ampang Ulu Kelang.

Rombongan in terdiri drpd 6 kereta:

1. Keluarga Pak Cik Nan (bapak Faris)
2. Mak Long & Pak Long (mak bapak aku ni)
3. Keluarga Mak Poji & Pak Toi
4. Keluarga Mak Ina & Pak Cik Alias
5. Keluarga Pak Dil & Cik Julia
6. Along, Alin, diriku & diri adikku


Selepas solat Asar di masjid KKB tu (KKB ni sgt ulu ok! xde tarikan pun kt sini), kami semua berangkat ke rumah pihak perempuan. Kami disambut meriah oleh keluarga perempuan.


Sesi berbalas pantun bermula, dan diikuti dengan acara menyarung cincin oleh umi selaku Mak Long kpd Faris.

Kami dijamu dengan laksa johor, laksa penang, roti jala, agar-agar serta kek coklat.


Sejurus bertukar2 hantaran, kami semua mengundur diri. Umi dan ayah terus pulang ke Johor utk mengambil abang dan nenek manakala I dan adik I ikut Along pulang ke Shah Alam.

Noodles Station @SACC Mall

Last night, my family went to makan2 at Noodles Station located in the very boring SACC Mall. haha..



It was for my brother in-law's belated birthday celebration since last week, most of us weren't available to celebrate his real birthday. Plus my parents were here last week.



The food here was okay for me. Not so sedap, not so tak sedap. It's balance you know.

Puasa Rejab

Seperti mana yang anda semua tahu, atau pun tak tahu.. Sekarang dah pun masuk bulan Rejab, which means tinggal lagi kurang 2 bulan sebelum Ramadan menjelma. Lepas Ramadan, RAYA!!!

Eh eh eh.. Ramadan belum tiba, sibuk2 nak raya pulak kan..

Hari ini merupakan hari ketiga I puasa sunat bulan Rejab dan hari merupakan hari terakhir I berjumpa dgn Lukman sebab dia akan bercuti selama 2 minggu. So, semalam ktrg pun plan la nak bukak puasa sama2, GRAND IFTAR katanya. Makan berdua je..


Ni la makanan yang ktrg masak petang tadi:

1. Butter Rice
2. Roasted Chicken with Baby Carrots
3. Seafood Soup
4. Mushroom in Oyster Sauce
5. Turmeric Shrimps
6. Banana Split

So, kepada kawan2, selamat berpuasa sunat! I tau, sebahagian kawan I pun dah start berpuasa sunat spt Cipak, Aleen, Mirah, Bee, Kak Long, Fariz dan juga Fadh. Semalam keluar buka puasa dgn Fadh. Makan nasi ayam yang sgt sedap!

Trip to North - Perlis & Kedah

Last Friday, Lukman, me and other several girl friends went to the Northern part of Malaysia to attend Najwa's sister's wedding on Saturday. Even though, our destination was not the same (boys and Bee turun at Alor Setar while Aimi and the gang turun at Kangar), we still boarded the same bus.

The journey was very very long long long very very long.. long! Plus the kid in front of me and Lukman kept on kacauing us. He wanted to play with us but both of us pura2 tidur.. haha.. The kid's name is Danish. Nama nak moden je..

I stayed at Lukman's Along's house at Alor Setar, near the plaza tol Alor Setar (U). There are 4 cute kids in the house and the all were peramah except the baby. He kept on crying seeing stranger at the house. Hehehe.. We watched World Cup together (Africa vs Mexico) before we retired to bed.



Saturday

After having roti canai as our breakfast, we headed to Kangar by using Lukman's new car he bought from his brother in-law. I took about one-hour to reach Kangar since we were uncertain the correct way to Kangar. But luckily I still remembered the way since I used to study at Perlis before.

Arrived at the wedding at noon after picking up Bee at Jitra. The menu was scrumptiously yummy yummy. The kurma beef was very tender. The ayam was sedap. The air sirap also sedap.

After melantak, we helped Najwa's family distributing the doorgift; a paperbag with some foods inside and sumi. We all gilir2 to distribute the things. At first; Aimi, Faeza and Hafizah. Then they took some rest. After that, Lukman, Bee and I took their job. The sweets for children finished up so fast so we ended up not giving anything to the kids who attend the wedding.


We lepak2 inside the house, camwhoring on the pelamin. The hantaran also were there.



We left the wedding at 5 pm after all the guests had returned home. We all got special paperbag which contains bunga telur, porcelain cups and some foods. Walaaa~

At night, we played Saidina with Lukman's nephew. Damn, I kalah ye.. Muflis after Syahmi.. haha.. Faiz won the game, Lukman pon kalah ye.. hahaha...



Sunday

As planned, we all went to Padang Besar, Perlis for shopping. I'm not sure what's so interesting in Padang Besar but this place is a shopping place for makcik2.. haha.. We spend about 3 hours here menahan cuaca panas some more. I bought fridge magnets and some foodstuffs. Lukman bought Argentina t-shirt (it's not jersey I think). The girls bought everything..



The, we went to Gua Kelam with intention to board the train inside the cave. However, we were so unlucky today because the train was temporary closed. Maintenance agaknye..



So we ended up using the Titi Gantung. The atmosphere inside the cave was very cold.

Then, we drove back to find place to have lunch. At first we went to Tok Mek Restaurant, but so many people were there. We ate some mango harum manis jelly before we headed back to Kangar to find other place to eat. Fatin's corner also closed so finally we went to KFC to eat. Hahaha..

After sending the girls back to Najwa's house, we went back to Alor Setar to grab our stuff's at Lukman's Along's house before we continued our journey to KL.

We took turn in driving. Lukman drove the first while I drove the last half. Worse, I drove in heavy rain so cannot pecut laju2.. Dropped by perhentian Bukit Gantang to buy fruits then at Sg. Perak we had our simple dinner. So many people at the R&R, I guessed because it's school holiday and it's Sunday some more. We ate mushroom soups with garlic breads and fries.

Near KL, I passed the car back to Lukman. Arrived at Vista at 1 am. Urghh, so tired.. =_=

Selamat Hari Lahir yang ke-22.. Semoga panjang umur, dimurahkan rezeki dan dipercepatkan jodoh. Aku tau, ko tringin sgt nk kahwin dan dapat anak yang cumil spt Aqil dan juga Arissa..

Kepada Wan Nur Amirah Syahirah:

Apsal nama ko panjang sgt ek?? Papepun, Selamat becoming Hari Lahir yang ke-21. Compare to Jah yang lagi tua dari aku, ko cume 2 bulan lg muda dari aku je. Semoga maintain kurus dan ayu, dipanjangkan umur, dimurahkan rezeki dan ceria2 selalu.

Jah & Wan

Ok, back to last night event. Last night, right after the girls finished their usrah and Maghrib prayer, we attacked their house for a surprise birthday party to Jah. Eventually, Wan didn't know the the party was also for herself.

After we sang birthday song to both Jah and Wan, the cake started to melt. So, Jah quickly cut the cake and distributed the slices to others. The cake was yummy, a bit soft and spongy.


Our menu for the party was KFC chicken, homemade coleslaw and mashed potato by me *bangga sekejap* and fried bihun from pakcik goreng2 downstairs. Mango juice was sponsored by Kak Long according to Cipak.


Then we had present-giving session. All people queue up to give their presents to Jah and Wan respectively.


Thanks to all people who were involved in this party: Myself, Wanji, Duwe, Mije, Anis, Mirah, Aleen, Bee, Cipak, Pariz, Kak Long, Farrah Pinkfreak and also Jah & Wan. Thanks to Kak Jannah who joined us and served the drinks for us. This might be our last time celebrating Jah & Wan's birthday as a whole 7M6 class because next year, we all will go separate ways (not applicable to MPharm).

Big Food

We had a family makan2 last Saturday at Big Food, TTDI Jaya.

It's for my dad's birthday and also Kak Kyra's belated birthday celebration.

There are 2 types of food here, 1 is normal and another 1 is big food. The big food is actually a doubled amount of food in on plate, and of course the price is double as well.

I tried the Grilled Chicken but found it very normal only. Not so great about it. To many veggies until my stomach is fulled of it. The chicken chop was so-so as well. The gravy is the same as mine, all mushroom sauce. I prefer black pepper though. However, the pizza was definitely yummy. The dough is very soft. The assam laksa was quite overspicy.

The funny part is Arissa. She's so bising that night. Macam2 bunyi dia buat. hahaha... Cute! Plus, she kept on kissing the glass sheet on the table because she saw her reflection on it.

End of May

Prince of Persia

Last Thursday, I hang out with my usual besties. We went to Berjaya Times Square to watch Prince of Persia : The Sands of Time. We ate at Secret Recipe; all of us ate noodles, Lukman with Tom Yam Kung, Azery with Sarawak Laksa and I tried the Curry Noodles. All were sedap dan yummy2.. Prince of Persia for me was great except for the ending! They rewind the movie too much until you will feel you only watched it for 15 minutes! However, Jake Gyllenhaal dan Gemma Aterton were both great actors. Menjadi lakonan diorg berdua, sangat romantis over the top until I'm confuse what kind of movie it is (action? romance?). Props, setting sume sgt grand, sgt menepati jalan cerita. Well, Hollywood is always like that right? They got a LOT of budget compared to local films.



Weekend

On Wesak Day break, my family and I had a kenduri doa selamat at my auntie's place at Segamat. She moved into a new bigger house (2 units renovated to 1 unit). It's hell large occay! got 6 rooms and 4 toilets! Spent our night there with Mak Ina and family as well. Layan Siti yang sentiasa berkepit dgn I. Well, I'm her favourite cousin after all. Menu for the kenduri were nasi dulang (makan nasi dalam dulang uols!). Nasi putih with ayam masak merah, kerabu mangga, nangka masak lemak, ikan masin, telur masin, timun and sambal belacan. All were yummylicious sampai sakit2 perut esok pagi sebab makan ayam merah banyak sgt!

Next morning, we headed to Batu Pahat to my nyai and yai's place. Balik kampung ler...

Back at home, terpaksa kemas2 rumah because my house is currently under renovation. So many dust until my nose sneeze after a while. Sleep early on Saturday and woke up early on Sunday to kemas the house again.



Shrek Forever After

Last night was an impromptu outing. Lukman ajak me to buy Baskin Robin since it's 31st May.. Then I suggested, why don't we watch movie as well? Since alang2 dah keluar, it's better to go out to the fullest right? So we booked Shrek Forever After 3D for the 9 pm show. Dinner at Wendy's trying the new black pepper burger. Then, each of us melantak one pint of Baskin Robin ice-cream each (original price rm25 and discounted to rm17). Lukman with Strawberry Cheesecake + Cotton Candy flavour while I'm more comfortable with Peppermint Chocolate and Chocolate Mousse.
