Breaking Dawn

Finally, got the chance to watch The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 movie after breaking free from my hectic university life. Studying for class test really limits my room for entertainment. Since today I was quite free, I went to the cinema with Anis and Fyruz.

The weather wasn't very nice today, with continuous rain all day long. So we had to walk under the rain soaking ourselves to the city centre. We had our lunch at The Bistro which is located near the cinema. We all had double cheeseburgers because it was the easiest food to eat without messing up with our hands. After satisfying our hungry bellies, we headed straight to Cineworld.

The show started at 3 pm, but as usual the 'real' show started about half an hour after because of the commercials and movie trailers. The movie started out with a lot of romantic scenes, especially after the wedding of Edward and Bella. I mean, really really too much! No wonder it's rated as 12A.. As the movie progress, the scenes became more serious towards the end. With the conflict of Jacob and his werewolf pack, Bella getting pregnant and many more. However, the ending was quite sad when Bella died after the labour devastating both Edward and Jacob. We're looking forward to watch the second part which will be released at the end of next year. Lama lagi tuuuu.... :( For me, I have no problem with the storyline since I've read the novel before. So I know what will happen next. 

We walked back to our hall in rain again and in the coldness of the night.. Brrrrrr~

Glasgow to Philadelphia

Currently, Glasgow is still undergoing a filming for World War Z. For this purpose, Glasgow is turned into Philadelphia for about 2 weeks. This film stars Brad Pitt but I am not lucky enough to met him in person. *berangan je la*

The traffic in city centre, mainly around George Square is affected significantly with road closure and diversion. Most of the props we brought all the way here such as American cars, cabs, SWAT van, fire truck, hot dog stands, traffic light and also signboards.

Harry Potter - It All Ends

Wuwuwuwuu *crying*.. Ok, itu tipu!

Looks like Harry Potter film saga has just ended with happy and sad ending. As a loyal fan, I found out that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 was quite amusing and all the questions from the previous movies were all answered in this final installment. However, I personally think that this movie duration should be longer, 2 hours and 10 minutes was quite short. Let's say my target is 2 and a half hour. It's should be great!

I watched this movie with my flatmates and also Alif, our senior at Cineworld, Renfrew Street which is just a 15-minute walk from our hall. The ticket price (student) for 3D movie is £6.60 while for 2D is £5.10. Well all went for 3D of course.


I'm not going to review about this movie but just want to share some favourite scenes and also the scenes that I didn't like.


Favourite scenes:

- McGonagall fight Snape by using orange fiery spell where it bounces when Snape shield it. It bounces directly to two Death Eaters (presumably Alecto and Amycus Carrow) standing behind Snape and kill them. Padan muka kau!

- All fighting/dueling scenes. I love seeing colourful spells flying on the air. The battles damaged Hogwarts very badly.

- The chamber of secret. This scene was not in the book, but made it to the film. It's nice seeing the chamber of secret got revisited.

- Everytime the Horcrux are destroyed, I feel satisfied. Voldemort is getting weaker. Padan muka kau!

- Harry Potter plays hide-and-seek with Voldemort. Macam main kejar2 pulak.. Then Harry kena belasah dengan Voldemort; kena lempang, kena sepak & kena pijak. Barulah sadis sikit.



Not-so-favourite scenes:

- Harry takes quite a long time talking to the ghost of Helena Ravenclaw (The Grey Lady). Perlu ke adegan hantu merajuk2 tak nak bagitau Harry kat mana dia sorokkan the lost diadem tu??

- All fighting scenes should be longer. I want to see Hermione, Luna & Ginny fight Bellatrix before Molly kill her. But the way Bellatrix dies is so funny. She shrinks a bit before exploding. LOL.. In the book, Molly kill her by casting a spell which hits directly into Bellatrix's heart.

- The dead. Gonna miss Fred, Lupin and Tonks. Tapi apsal tetiba Lavender pun mati? Dalam buku takde cakap pun dia mati.. Cuma cedera dibelasah Fenrir je. Tapi dalam movie, Fenrir siap makan daging Lavender lagi sebelum Hermione tembak dia. *yuxsss*. Sayu tengok Lupin & Tonks mati bersama. Terpaksa Harry jaga anak korang, Ted Lupin yang tak muncul dalam movie.

- Oliver Wood only make a brief apprearance where he leads an aerial attack on a broomstick. Parvati Patil was cut from the movie but her twin Padma is still in there. Boleh pulak kembar kau tiba2 hilang kan..

- I want to see the professors battling the Death Eater. Prof Slughorn, Sprout and Trelawney are in the movie but none are seen in the fighting scene. Tiba2 je muncul masa dah habis lawan2 duduk sedih2 pasal orang mati. Salute to McGonagall, but the stone soldiers did not do much in fighting.

- The way Voldemort dies is quite not satisfying. I should be the Avada Kedavra spell rebounces to him. Not just tetibe wand retak2 and terpelanting. Harry patutnya tonyoh2 Voldemort dengan pedang and korek mata Voldemort *ok, ini tipu*.

X-Men: First Class

BEST!

Itu ungkapan yang amat sesuai sekali ditujukan kepada filem terbaru X-Men yang bertajuk X-Men: First Class. First class bukanlah bermaksud terlalu hebat, tetapi ia merupakan kelas pertama yang diajar oleh Prof X and Magneto kepada mutan-mutan muda yang ingin memperbaiki dan memperkembangkan kuasa mereka. Dalam filem ini, segala persoalan terungkai. Bagaimana Magneto jadi jahat, bagaimana Prof X jadi lumpuh dan sebagainya. Walaubagaimanapun, I tak puas hati sebab watak X-Men sangatlah sedikit;

Prof X - telepath
Magneto - controls metals like magnet
Havok - blasts energy wave from body
Angel - can fly by using bug-like wings and spits acid
Beast - super intelligence and strength
Azazel - teleports
Mystique - shapeshifter
Banshee - produces sonar from mouth
Emma Frost - crystal-like body structure and telepath
Riptide - produce whirlpool and controls water




I tengok movie ni dengan besties I yang akan I tinggalkan selama setahun. Sedih tau, tak dapat jumpa diorg lagi pasni. Lepas setahun baru boleh jumpa. Walaupun Badd mengalami kesulitan, dia tetap gagah untuk hang out dengan kitorang. Terharu sangat! Pastu Emie pulak datang lambat, tapi sempat catch-up makan kat Pizza Hut dengan kitorang. Yang paling sedih, Wawa tak jadi join tgk X-Men atas halangan ibu bapa. Huhu, takpe, janji dapat jumpa korang walaupun sekejap.


Memang hari tu keluar untuk tengok wayang je, so tak shopping pape pun. But thanks to Wawa for the teddy, hot wheel and kek batik! =)

Karak

Tadi tengok Karak dengan Helmi. Dah lama tak jumpa dia since Beijing trip aritu. Hehe..

Sebenarnya keluar bukan nak tengok wayang, just nak hang out together je. Tapi macam banyak masa, so kitorang tengoklah movie. Banyak kali gak la aku check kat website TGV untuk browse latest movie. Bila tengok2 timing, Kung Fu Panda 2 & Nur Kasih takde yang sesuai. Nak2 waktu maghrib plak tu. Apekes? Terus kitorang pilih untuk tengok Karak sebab itu show yg paling possible and feasible.

Before tu, kitorang lunch kat Papparich kopitiam dulu. Pekena kuetiau sup dengan ayam kukus plus kopi ais. Sebenarnya dah lunch kat rumah, tapi tetap nk lunch lagi demi menemani Helmi makan. Takkan nk biar dia makan sorang2 plak kan. Pastu dia beli pretzel stix perisa cinnamon and eclair. Layan beb! Cecah dengan caramel dip! Thanks Helmi!




Shopping barang keperluan lagi sikit seperti highlighter berkaler2, pen 4 batang dan sarung untuk ehem ehem...

Karak ini diterbitkan oleh KRU Studio, so tau2 je la efek dia cmne kan.. Meriah sgt hantu2 dia.. Opening scene je dah buat org terkincit, hantu makan orang.. Seram tak? Kesian makcik tu, tgh syok2 dodoikan anak, tapi hantu tu makan laki dia kat atas bumbung kereta. Hishhh, seriauuuu... Pastu Shahir jadi watak yang agak utama la. Mesti Lolly suka! Malas la nak review movie ni, not my bidang gitu... Tapi seram2 dia I rate 3/5 je.. Setakat ni takdela I sorok muka dalam beg ke, dalam plastik ke, celah kangkang ke, sebab terlalu seram kan. Masih boleh diterima akal rakyat Malaysia lagi movie ni.


K la, dah penat ni.. Sambung cerita lain pulak di lain waktu dan ketika..

Weekend Hangover

Weekend hangover ye.. Tajuk macam nak kena penampar je kan.. Tak boleh bagi tajuk yang kontorversi lagi ke? Kau ingat kitorang mabuk2 sampai kena hangover ke? Tidakkkkk ye..... Ok, back to this post..


Saturday

This weekend had been so effing memorable and joyful where I spend my whole weekends with close friends from INTEC, IMU, MMC, MMU, Parkson, and Petrosains *sentap kau Azery*. First, we celebrated my belated birthday at Chili's KLCC where we unexpectedly met Helmi at KLCC. So we asked him to joined us at Chili's to have a little chit chat with because we haven't seen him for ages since we left IMU few months ago. Badd excited sangat dapat jumpa Helmy Akmal tau.. Dah bertahun2 tak jumpa katanya..

Before we had lunch at Chili's, we grabbed the opportunity to watch Fast & Furious 5 which for me, was awesome and fantastic. The actors, the stunts, the cars were all perfect! Berdebar2 jantung tengok cerita ni.. I don't really favour watching action movies in theatre but this one had successfully caught my attention gitu..

Lunch at Chili's for about one hour or so. The people waiting outside the restaurant was overflowing so we made our quick move. We went to the newly opened UNIQLO which was having an opening sale downstairs. So without thinking much, I purchased a Big Bang t-shirt which cost RM39.90 (RM20 cheaper than original price). Then, Emie bid goodbye because he need to be at Malacca for his other friend's birthday.

After Azery finished his job at Petrosains, we headed straight to Seremban to overnight at Lukman's house. Before reaching the house, we dropped by Giant hypermarket because Azery need to buy some clothes because he joined us sehelai sepinggang. After having a little bit of rest at the house, we went out again for dinner at Restoran Mak Teh. Sedap jugak Mak Teh masak. The satay tulang (bone satay) is very yummy! First time I tried this food and I'm loving it. Tak pernah jumpa kat tempat lain lagi.. Senawang speciality gitu..

As usual, before we went to tilam, we had some pillow talks but my eyes were so heavy at that time and I blackout few minutes later...



Sunday

As I promised Ida yesterday, we went to Kuala Pilah to eat at her mother's restaurant which was exclusively opened for us today. The restaurant is usually closed on Sunday. We had western food such as grilled chickep, lamb chop, beefsteak, fish & chips and nasi goreng cili padi without vegies and extra pedas. The milkshake here is very milky and yummy but only one flavour is available which is chocolate. Not forget, the pizza was scrumptious as well; the nadee's chicken special flavour was juicy, tasty and crunchy till the last bite. Then Ida's umi belanja us tuna sandwiches for each of us. Sedapppppppppp... Lembut dan disukai ramai!

After melantak and gossiping with Ida, we continued our journey back to Seremban. We dropped Azery at KTM station and Badd at Terminal One because they need to go back already. We surely missed you guys.

At night, Thor awaited us at Seremban 2 Jusco. Best sangat! We had a quick bite before we entered the cinema hall. We bought onagiri and sushi from Jusco to alas perut because we were still full with Ida's food. As the movie finished, we had dipper (dinner + supper) at a tom yam restaurant near Lukman's house.

Ok, tamat sudah percutian kali ini. It's hard to say goodbye knowing that u only have merely a month to spend you time with family and friends before you continue your study at somewhere far far way. =(
