For Archie

Last week, my best friend, Helmy told me that there will be a David Archuleta Showcase in Malaysia in April. He knew it from 8TV. Suddenly we feel so excited about going to this showcase but we don't know how. So, I browsed through the internet to find out more about this showcase.

There are several way to get the free passes to this event:
1. Through Digi by purchasing David Archuleta's bundle (ringtones, wallpaper etc)
2. By purchasing David's album starting 2 April onwards
3. By contest on tv or radio (Era.fm, Hitz.fm, 8TV etc)
4. Reloading RM30 - applicable to Digi user

Here's the thing. We are not Digi users. So, we buy a new number to try our luck. My number and Helmy's just differ by 1 digit only. We purchase the bundle and wait for the outcome. I used my brother's old phone to use my Digi number. Plus, I did topup my prepaid with RM30.

Contest? No, so not my genre. I don't really like entering contest plus the probability of winning is very low. I'm busy with classes and tests, so got no time to listen to the radio or watch TV.

We did try to but David's album last week on April 2nd which is right after Physiology test. But it was in vain because we were late. The album was sold out one hour prior our arrival to Midvalley. Not all music store offer the free showcase passes. Only certain like Rock Corner in Midvalley and the Gardens, and yes we also went to the Gardens to try our luck. It was revealed that each shop only offer 20 passes only. Huhu, how few...

Helmy and I like David Archuleta since American Idol last year. We watched the show together in college in the small TV room, which is sometimes we need to come early to book the TV. Usually, Badd also joined us but his favourite was David Cook. We were all so touched by David Archuleta's version of Imagine. It was very good. In fact, we felt a bit unsatisfied that David Archuleta didn'n win the American Idol.

Today, 2 good news enter my life (and also Helmy's life of course). This evening, like I stated in the post before this, I got an SMS from Digi saying that I won 2 passes to the showcase. I felt so surprised and I was indeed shouting and screaming in my room. The other news was, Helmy also got 2 passes as well. Therefore, it makes to 4 passes. We were so lucky this time.

Only that we don't to to asked who the other one. Me, Helmy and Azery. So, got 1 more pass left. I already asked Anis but she said that she will think about it since the showcase is on Saturday, and Monday we got Chemistry test.

Our efforts for this showcase..

It was all worth it..

=)

Yeah!

I just won 2 passes to David Archuleta Showcase!

What a lucky day!

1 more to go! Hwaiting!

Yeah, just finished the Biopharmacy test today! What a relief..

The questions weren't very easy and weren't very hard also.. Some question even contributes 3 marks even though it just a MCQs (multiple choice questions).. That's ridiculous, I wonder if I got that question wrong, 3 marks will be flying away just like that.

Some of my friends like Anis, Bee & Fariz went out enjoying themselves after a week of study and revision. It must be very tense. Not forget, Aleen & Mirah also took the chance to ease their stress by the same manner.

So, I just sitting in my room, alone, maybe I will watch movies on Badd's suggestion..

1 more test to go next week! Chemistry test! Aja-aja! Hwaiting!

Anis' Small Surprise Birthday Celebration

Last night, dated April 4th my friends and I threw a small surprise party for Anis. We planned it very carefully so that Anis won't notice anything.

Roughly, it was my idea. In such a sudden, I asked about this plan and he said okay. I also asked Aleen's opinion about this matter and she liked our plan. So, that evening, we went to Carrefour to get some food and cake for the party. Before we went back to Vista. it was raining like hell. We we so shocked because it was hard to find a cab to go home, luckily there was one.

I bought the simple things to cook such as meatballs, fries and some salad, plus some drinks and nata de coco (Azery's favourite). As soon I reached home, I fried the balls and fries and also arranged the salad in a beautiful way.

At 10 pm, Jah and Wan arrived at our doorstep and we moved together to Anis' house which is just above my house. At first Jah called Anis saying that she had something to give to Anis. When Anis opened the door, SURPRISE!!

She was quite touch with us. Even though we got test on next Monday, we still got time to celebrate her birthday. Unfortunately, the girls from Vista B couldn't join us because of the time problem. There are all girls and it was quite dangerous to walk from Vista B to Vista C because nowadays got a lot of snatch thieves around this area.

Anis was shouting and screaming due to this surprise. Then we went inside and set up everything; arranging the food and cutleries on the mat. We even brought our own plates, cups and spoons, it's like we were on a indoor picnic.

After eating everything up (not everything, got some left over), it's now time for Blueberry Cake. Jah had been waiting for this moment since the beginning. Then, the birthday girl lighted up her own birthday candles by using the kitchen stove. After camwhoring session, we enjoyed our cake. Later, we gave Anis her birthday present.

We had a lot of fun together, which we definitely needed during our stress period due to unstoppable test every week. We learned about Combo thingy in the girls' house. What is Combo? I was thinking about food at first, but later it was revealed that it was a duty roster for them.

Thanks to all who joined the party; me, Helmy, Azery, Safwan, Ridhwan, Aleen, Bee, Jah, Wan, Nawal and the birthday girl herself, Anis. It was really fun..

Girls' Generation/SNSD Album in Malaysia

Last week, when Helmy and I were wandering around Midvalley Megamall, I found a shop which sell Girls' Generation new mini album entitled Gee. It's kinda made me surprised because before this, I never found any SNSD album in Malaysia.

The music store was Rock Corner. Not only in Midvalley, but can be also found in other Rock Corner outlet such as in The Gardens.

However, the album wasn't made in Korea, but made in Taiwan instead. When I saw the CD, I took the chance to view it closely and found out that the writing on the album wasn't in Korean language, but in Mandarin or other Chinese writing. The CD might be imported from Taiwan because Taiwan always produced Taiwan version of Korean album. The cover still the same showing the 9 girls standing on roller blades. Only the writing was not in Korean language.

To SNSD fan in Malaysia, if you wanna buy this album, please take the chance to buy it or else, you can purchase it online through Yesasia.com.
