Taman Tamadun Islam | Kuala Terengganu

Assalamualaikum wbt and have a good day readers!

It has been a while since I last write about travel. Lately have been busy with my job, preparing slides for presentation and so forth. I'm gonna write about my visit to Taman Tamadun Islam during my visit to Terengganu a few months ago.

Taman Tamadun Islam is located in Pulau Wan Man, not so far from Kuala Terengganu city centre. There's a lot of signboard which will direct you to Taman Tamadun Islam. Thus, it's not so difficult to find it. Taman Tamadun Islam is collectively comprised of several attractions such as Taman Monumen, Masjid Kristal and Convention Centre. Our main purpose to visit here was to visit the Taman Monumen. The entrance fee is RM15 for adult, RM8 for children and senior citizen.

The weather was burning like usual. It was very bright and walking to an open-spaced park under the hot sunlight is not very comfortable though. We had to rest in the air-conditioned building for a few times while roaming around the park. There's less tourists in the park because it was neither school holiday nor public holiday.

There are many mosque monuments here, all were built based on the real mosque around the world. First, I visited the National Mosque Kuala Lumpur miniature. The monument was quite nice and well done, but wasn't been took care of so well. Some parts were collapsed and dirt could be seen too alongside dried leaves. Some monuments even have plants growing on them.

nampak real tak?

Among the interesting monuments include Masjidil Haram, Masjid Nabawi, Masjid Sultan (Singapore), Taj Mahal, Dome of Rock, Masjid Sheikh Lutfallah (Iran) and many others. Visiting each of the mosque  monument definitely will be more interesting and relaxing if the weather was okay. I felt very happy seeing the mosque monument knowing that I had visited the real mosque myself.

After finishing the tour, we headed outside and dropped by the souvenir shops. I bought some souvenir pens, magnet and keychains. The price were extremely expensive for locals thus I couldn't afford to shop more. Then, we had a break at the nearby cafe. We eased ourselves with cold drinks and ABC. Slurrrppp~

Then, we walked again to take photo with the Crystal Mosque. It was very pretty and classy. We only took photo from afar because we had to rush back to Dungun to send my brother to UiTM.

Adios~
