Too Italian? Too much?

We had a family dinner at Italiannies, Sunway Pyramid to celebrate Angah's birthday.

We tried out several menus such as Classic Carbonara, Chicken and Beef Lasagna and a couple of pizzas.


The food portion were huge. One serving can be enjoyed by 3 hungry people. Luckily we didn't order one food one person. If like that, I'm sure our stomach will burst.

I think the food are nice and okay. Because of all the food contain cheese, at one time my throat couldn't accept the food anymore. I became muak already. Is it too cheesy?

Luckily got bottomless iced lemon tea. We could drink continuously to ease our full stomach.


I played a lot with Arissa today. I sergah her for the first time and she's kinda shocked, but astill remain cute.

Mari Memasak bersama Chef Iwa

Yesterday and today, I got mood to try out several recipes. One was Oreo Cheesecake given by Chef Amirah Sedek and another one Lemon Rosemary Grilled Chicken given my uncle, which is actually a Jamie Oliver's simplest recipe.



Oreo Cheesecake [done on Monday]

Actually, I'm not a big fan of cheesecake, but Cipak insisted me to try the recipe. She had tried it twice and still like it. Fariz also had tried the recipe, but she said tak sedap.

With the help from my brother, I bought the ingredients from Giant and later baked the cake.

It's a simple recipe. Not so many weird ingredients.

Even though I never tasted it before, the photo from Amirah's blog made me wanna try it.

I actually wanna make this cake for my brother's birthday on Thursday, but ended up we finished one tray of the cake. Luckily I made two trays, the smaller one I gave it to him.





Lemon Rosemary Grilled Chicken [done on Tuesday]

My uncle made this chicken dish during our visit to his house during hari raya. It tasted nice and the meat is so tender and moist. Not too dry. It's also a very simple English recipe. I think most of Jamie Oliver's recipes are quite easy. It just that I was too lazy to buy the ingredients.

After done with the cooking, I texted my sister who worked in Shah Alam to had lunch with us, and tried my cooking.



Wah, cuti2 ni, rajin pulak try macam2 recipe. Anis rajin, Cipak rajin, apetah lagi Mirah.

Weekend

I know today is Tuesday, but I'm gonna blog about my weekend. Just got mood to write this post. Too lazy since my holiday only got few days left. :(

Ahh, malasnya nak balik IMU..

Huhu..

Last weekend, I followed my parents to balik kampung at Johor; one at Batu Pahat and one at Johor Bahru. On the way to JB, we dropped by Mak Induk's house at Segamat, and my mom also got things to buy at Jakel. We bought cloth for our baju raya next year.


Mak Induk cooked spaghetti for our brunch and later she made us assam pedas. Yummy~





One day later..



During our journey back to Shah Alam, my sister had asked my mother to drop me and my younger brother to her house because she had promised us to bring us jalan2. It's the only weekend that I got to jalan2 with her because next weekend (my very last weekend of holiday), we'll go to somewhere else.

We played with her new kittens, namely Fiffy and Bibi (just a suggestion, not sure whether it's permanent or not). The kitties are very cute. One male and one female.

Then, we went out to jalan2.

Firstly, we went to The Summit USJ, and had our lunch at Johny's.


Then, we went to Subang Square, planning to go to Toyworkers but in vain. The shop was closed. Cis, I'm so wanted to see the shop.My brother in-law said the it's full of toys... Lol..

After that, we headed to Tropicana City Mall. Also to jalan2 at the toy shops there like Brickboy Brother and Toys R Us.

Later, we went to Cheras Leisure Mall. My brother in-law bought some toys and I bought an Optimus Prime keychain.

Then, we went back home.

Ahh, so penat...

New Things!

Finally, the Korean phone straps which I purchased on Ebay had finally arrived.

YEAY!

They are Girl's Generation [SNSD], Super Junior, Big Bang and FT Island phone straps, my favourite Korean groups.

I won't use them. Keeping them will make them more valuable.

Farming aka Bercucuk Tanam

Yesterday, I followed my dad to Linggi, Malacca to visit our land which is soon-to-be orchard.

We left our house at 7 am *damn early, I'm still sleepy. Zzzz* and arrived 2 hours later.


First, I cleaned up the overgrown weeds around the young fruit trees. The weeds menumpang there because got a lot of fertilisers around the trees.

Then, we planted a lot of new baby trees, and a lot of banana plants as well.


It was very tiring and energy consuming especially works that involved the hoe. Plus, I'm not a person who is full of stamina. I'm not so active.


At 12, we had a rest and lunch with the food we bought before during

It's not simple like playing Farmville, Happy Farm or Barn Buddy. It's much more tiring and time consuming.


We managed to plant all the trees that we brought. As soon we finished everything, rain started to drop. Yay, the plants and trees must be very happy with the rain.

Now, my hand got some blisters and bruises. Looks like the glove wasn't protective at all.

However, all the hard works were paid off with sweet ABC and curry mee.

Results, Drafts and KFC

Today, I went to IMU with Amirah and Cipak since they both lives not so far from IMU.

At 12.30 pm, Amirah and I met Cipak outside IMU and then we headed straight to AAD to pick our results and also first draft of Foundation Pharmacy project.

I'm satisfied with my result even though it was not da bomb. For me, passed is just enough, no need to resit any papers.

Then, we browsed through our first draft. Mine got not much problem, only my clinical scenario was written 'incomplete' by Mr. KA. I'm not sure what info else he needed. We also browsed through others drafts as well, just to compare and contrast..

We met some medic friends there such as Jah, Bella, Ida, Sipot, Azery and Joash, and also managed to say hi to Najwa and 'Nawal dalam kenangan'.

There's an MPH bookfair in IMU, at the former cafe site. There's a lot of sale, all books got sale! Including 20% for Twilight, Lord of the Rings and many others.


Then, we had lunch at KFC Endah Parade. Thanks Cipak. :) .. I like~

After sending Amirah and Cipak at Vista C and B respectively, I drove home.

and it's raining along the way..

My Supper

Urghh..


Suddenly felt hungry in the midnight..


So I went to the kitchen


and made


pancakes

eating them with butter and honey.. yum yum..

wth? cooking pancakes at 1.00 am? I thought pancakes are meant for breakfast..

Lolly mintak resipi la pulak.. Nah, amek..


Bahan-bahannya:

1 cawan tepung gandum
2 sudu teh serbuk penaik
2 sudu besar gula
1 cawan susu segar
1 biji telur
1 sudu besar mentega cair

Prosedur:

Campurkan bahan kering dalam mangkuk.

Buat lubang kt tengah, masukkan telur dan yang lain-lain.

Biarkan selama 30 minit, sehingga buih-buih suci muncul.

Masak di atas kuali saduran tidak melekat (non-stick pan).

Jangan guna minyak banyak, sebaliknya, sapu kuali tu dgn minyak dulu.

Masak sampai lubang-lubang hitam muncul.

Terbalikkan utk coklatkan yang sebelah.



Makan dengan apa2 pn bleh.. Butter, honey, jem, maple syrup.
