Kota Kinabalu | Sabah [Part 2]

Assalamualaikum and have a nice day peeps~

Ok now continue back on track. Part two of my Kota Kinabalu trip with my fellow joyahs. The next day we concentrate more on water activities such as swimming and snorkelling.

Pulau Manukan

Kota Kinabalu is also famous with snorkelling activity especially on the three island which are Pulau Manukan, Pulau Sapi and Pulau Mamutik. These three small island is located near Pulau Gaya and can be seen from Jesselton Jetty. It's not very far. Took only 15 minutes to reach there. We only chose two islands for today. We took a boat from the jetty. It cost around RM50 to go to the islands including the snorkelling set and additional RM2 terminal fee.

They brought us to Pulau Manukan first since it's quite big. We spent around 2 hours here soaking ourselves wet in the sea. However, the corals and fishes here weren't as abundant as the one at Pulau Sapi later. We toured the island for a few minutes before continuing our activity in the next island.

Pulau Sapi

This island is very small but there were a lot of people here. This is because there are more corals and colourful fishes here. Actually we can swim from here to Pulau Gaya because there are very near. We really enjoyed snorkelling here than at Pulau Manukan.

Hard Rock Cafe - The Rock Shop

At the evening, we walked around the city to find Hard Rock Cafe which is located at the waterfront. However, only The Rock Shop was opened, the cafe is still under construction. I grabbed a few pins to add into my collection. Anis also bought a pin. Wanji bought a plain T-shirt. After that, we headed to the food court Anjung Senja to have dinner.

Souvenir Hunting

We spent the rest of the day and the day after shopping for souvenirs. Anis recommended us to go to Jamilah which is a souvenir shop selling souvenirs at a cheaper price. They also sell a lot of high quality pearls. I didn't shop much here except for a couple of fridge magnets since I already purchased a lot at Nabalu Town that day. Their prices not differ much.

That's all for our trip. 4 days and 3 nights trip is definitely enough for unless if you want to climb Mount Kinabalu. That requires more days.

Cheers~
