I Am Number 23 (Midnight Version)

Babak 2

Assalamualaikum wbt.

Hehehe..

Tapi tup tap tup tap, pukul 12 lebih tengah malam tadi diorang memang datang buat surprise! Ya Allah, memang terkejut sangat.. Serbu bilik aku tapi pastu kena halau pergi ruang tamu. Siap bawak dua kek lagi. So total kegemukan tengah malam tadi ialah 3 biji kek. Kek kat dapur dah siap bake, tinggal nk bubuh topping je. So aku terus la ke dapur membelek2 kek tersebut sampailah siap.

Nyanyi2, makan2, pastu amek2 gambar seperti biasa sampaiiilaaahhh pukul 2 pagi. Sesi bagi hadiah jugak berlangsung selepas tu. Thanks banyak2 korang! Besttt! XD

I Am Number 23

Babak 1

Wah wah wah, hari ni genaplah usiaku 23 tahun.. Semakin meningkat usia, semakin kuruslah aku. Eh2, statement macam nak kena pelempang je kan. Bila tengok balik usia 23 ni, sebenarnya diri ini tidaklah muda lagi. Dah dewasa gitu. Tak main la remaja2 dah. Tapi perangai still macam budak2, tak matang.

Amboi2, terharu sangat tau.

1. Kak Pah reluctant nak pulangkan mixer apabila diminta.
2. Wanji asyik keluar rumah je, ulang-alik ke rumah atas. Siap culik dua bijik kentang lagi kat dapur.
3. Terserempak Adilah kat luar rumah menunggu pintu dibuka.

Lepas tu terus diorang sua kek birthday kat aku. Surprise surprise!

Thanks for the Hogwarts present! =)

Nanti siapa nak kahwin tu, jemputlah2. Nak kad jemputan ye, ajak kat FB tak dikira.

Sekian.

Babak 2 akan menyusul.. =)

Babak 2 di sini.

Cheers!

Picnic dalam Rumah

Walaupun agak terlambat, tapi masih juga nak tulis pasal birthday Anis hari tu. Patutnya tulis post ni before tulis pasal Newcastle, tapi terlajak pulak.

Sebenarnya memang dah siap2 nak berpicnic, dah bangun awal masak2 bagai. Tapi jeng jeng jeng.. Pagi2 buta salji dah turun, pastu suhu pun mencecah 0 degree. So camne nak picnic kat luar??? So, aku bagitau Aleen supaya picnic kat rumah jela. Yela, sapa pulak rajin nak membekukan diri di luar kan. Tak sangka dalam musim bunga pun, salji still turun jugak. Subhanallah...

Masakan chef2 terkemuka

Semoga panjang umur, murah rezeki & berjaya dunia akhirat.

Easter Trip Day 1 - Newcastle

Assalamualaikum wbt,

I guess I have to write about this trip little by little just for some update. This time, our trip was BIG! Big in a sense that it would be joined by lots of people. For the very first time ever, we were travelling in a group of 14 and in backpackers style.

Our day was started with the journey from Glasgow to Newcastle. We boarded the train at 6.50 am (only us the boys) and reached Newcastle-upon-Tyne 3 hours later. The weather was extremely colder than usual because it was snowing in several parts of UK. Along the journey in the train, we could see few places already covered in white. As soon as we reached Newcastle, my body was trembling in the coldness. Newcastle is located near the sea, therefore it was chilly and the breeze was quite strong as well.

We had our breakfast at Burger King inside the Newcastle Central Station. Luckily they served vegetarian & seafood sandwich for their breakfast menu, so I had Ocean Catch sandwich which was basically a fish burger. We got warned by the worker not to take photo inside without his permission. Derrrr~ Burger King je ponnnnn... Nak kecoh apa... A few minutes later, Bella arrived and we started to plan our sightseeing in the city. Newcastle is famous with its bridges and among them is Tyne Bridge.

We bought one-day pass (£2.30) for the metro and started heading to Haymarket. We took photos with the cathedral, University of Newcastle and also dropped by a post office to send some postcards to my besties. Luckily the post office also sells postcards so we didn't have to find other souvenir shops. The postcards cost about 40p each. The weather even though was bright and sunny, the chill still affected me. Brrrrrr~

We met Achik in the metro on our way to St James' Park to visit Newcastle United FC Stadium. As usual, we entered the souvenir shop to buy some stuffs. I bought a few pin badges and a keyring which cost about £2.50 each. The price was okay, merely the same with other stadium. Once again, the staff warned us that we weren't allowed to take photo inside the shop. Apekah? Orang Newcastle tak suka amek gambar agaknya.. =.=

The rest of the girls and two boys arrived at noon and we met up at Starbucks in front of Newcastle Central Station. We continued our sightseeing tour heading to the famous bridges. We passed by The Black Gate which housed two bridges in the Old Newcastle. The first bridge we stepped on was The High Level Bridge. This bridge was extremely high and we could see Tyne Bridge from here. The wind kept on blowing our hair turning them a complete mess up. Then, we took photos from below the Tyne Bridge before we headed to the Gateshead Millennium Bridge. I think every place has their own millennium bridge such as in London and Glasgow.

Lunch at Subway and tuna sandwich for the hungry people. What else could we order right? £3 for lunch deal; a sub and a drink. After filling up our growling belly, we headed back to the Central Station to board a bus to the port. The DFDS Seaways bus was located in front of the station and we quickly boarded it since I could see lots of people queuing for it. We're gonna took this bus right now because the next bus would be in the next one hour. There were only two buses everyday which were at 2.45 pm and 3.45 pm. The fare for a single journey was £3.50 (can be bought online or on the bus itself).

Alhamdulillah, there were few last seats available in the bus so we didn't have to stand all the way to the port for half an hour. Then, we arrived at Port of Tyne International Passenger Terminal and prepared for our check-in. And now we were ready for our journey to Amsterdam, Holland! By cruise!

Information about DFDS Seaways can be obtained from DFDS website.

We purchased a cabin for 4 pax cost £110 per cabin one-way (meaning £27.50 per pax) which was reasonably affordable for students like us.

It's gonna be very exciting!

Somebody That I Used To Know

Have been addicted to this song lately after watching Glee- Big Brother episode..

Suara diorang sangat compatible to each other walaupun agak pelik adik-beradik nyanyi lagu break-up gini.

(Wan, sila take note). =p

Hahaha...

Sebenarnya sedikit terkesan dgn lagu ni sebab perkara ni mmg boleh berlaku even dengan kawan baik sendiri.. =(

Apa2 pun,
Cheers~

Spring Roadtrip - Stoke, Liverpool & Lake District

A day after we attended SMILE program at University of Warwick, Coventry, we continued our journey up north back to Glasgow. We stayed overnight at Awi's place at Keele. He stayed in an English house shared with other occupants and the house itself was very awesome. It's very English looking and very clean and unique.Keele is located besides Stoke-on-Trent and also Newcastle-under-Lyme. Please note that there are two Newcastle in UK. The other one is Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

First thing in the morning, we headed to University of Keele to take some photos with the scenery there. Awi brought us to Keele's Hall where we could find a small flower garden in front of the building. The weather was kinda sunny but still maintained its coldness.

Next, we're of to visit Britannia Stadium which hosts Stoke City Football Club. Too bad, the souvenir shop was not opened yet since we arrived there quite early. In UK, shops usually open at noon. We took photo in the front of the stadium and also managed to peek inside the stadium to see the green field.

After sending Awi back to his place, we continued our roadtrip to Liverpool. It's about one hour drive from Stoke-on-Trent. Liverpool is a city located near the sea and the weather was quite windy although the sun shone brightly here. We spent one hour around the dock taking photos in front of the Liverpool Museum and also entered a souvenir shop in The Beatles Story shop. I bought a couple of fridge magnets, pin badges and postcards. Since it's a commercial shop, therefore the price was quite expensive.

We had our lunch at McDonald's after getting lost several times around the city. Fillet-o-Fish was the only thing that we could eat there, so we tried it. It's my first time eating at McDonald's in UK. I found that the Fillet-o-Fish was rather smaller in comparison with the same burger in Malaysia. Our next destination would be none other that two stadiums in Liverpool; Anfield (Liverpool FC) and Goodison Park (Everton FC). I bought one thing from Anfield souvenir shop while we only spend a few minutes at Goodison Park because we couldn't find the shop. Plus, it's getting late as we need to continue our journey north.

We reached Keswick, Lake District at around 6 pm. There's a big lake here with beautiful greenery around it. A lot of wooden boats laid along the shore. We performed our prayer here on the grass field. There were loads of sheep here too. They were busy with the grass and some of them busy with their babies. Actually, Keswick was one of the sides of Lake District, there are a lot of other sides where we could go to see more beautiful panoramas. However, we had no time to go there as it was nearly nightfall.

Thanks Joe for driving us all the way during this trip. Alhamdulillah, this was our very first roadtrip in UK and it went smoothly although we got lost several times. But still I considered it successful.
